It's possible he is related to the McFeeley family of Carrowmenagh, and may have been among the 1881 evictees (Charles and John McFeeley have been listed). Born in 1927 in Moville but settled in Derry. He comes from a very large family but only himself and his sister Frances (who lives in Kent) are alive. His father was Denis, who spent some time in the British army, did the odd bit of smuggling in his time and died when he was a teenager. His mother was Sarah McLaughlin, her brothers were Ned, Hughie and Phillip and they were known as the Toys of the Cross. Believe they hailed from the Quigley's Point area

Lower Moville co Donegal. He married a Mary Campbell on 11th August 1846. He was a farmer. He had at least one son a Robert Alexander who came to London. Other relations emigrated to Elgin County, Ontario Canada.
