donaghy family.ballylawn
This is Samuel Donaghy, his wife Mary, and their family taken about 1918-1920. Samuel was a farmer and Mary was a National Schoolteacher living in Ballylawn. The photo was sent in by Joe McCorkell, whose Great Aunt Jessie Williams (from Ballyrattan) had the photograph in her possession.
Does anyone know anything about the Donaghy family, and their connection to the Williams family?
George peoples.moville
George Peoples ran the Grocery shop at 20 Main Street Moville at the time of the 1901 and 1911 Census. He was an Uncle of Jessie Williams. Any information about him or his family would be welcome.
Thanks again to Joe McCorkell for the photograph.
